Your favorite moment during the ceremony?

What's your favorite moment during the ceremony? People often say it's when the bride walks down the aisle. Some would say it's to see the groom's teary eyes when the bride walks towards him. For me, I have the privilege to see the most precious moment. That is the moment when the bride is hiding in back, waiting with anticipation to see the groom for the first time while the proud dad or the honored escort holds the bride's hand with a comforting grip. That tender moment is often missed in the photographs. When I coordinate weddings, I always try to stand behind the bride and capture this "moment". The walking out scene always make me feel very emotional (giving away the bride) and filled with joy (bride's walking into her happiness).

August Wedding in San Jose

Here's an August wedding that I did in San Jose. The wedding theme was modern Asian, and colors were red and green. Before the wedding, I had the hardest time locating these dark red English Garden Roses! I had to search all over the US, but at the end my wonderful supplier was able to locate them and special order for me all the way from Miami! The bride showed me this picture: The bouquet that I made for her:

July Vow Renewal in Milpitas

Another reason why I love my job is that I get to meet new vendors and become friends with some of them. Blanca from A Touch of Elegance is one of the vendors that I met back in Dec. 07, we did an engagement party together. She provided the most amazing chair covers and she can fold sashes anyway you like and beautifully. We exchanged our business cards that day, and have kept in touch since. For her vow renewal party, she picked out chocolate brown, ivory and sage as her main color schemes. There's no better place like home to throw a party. She has a large backyard, and we had a lot of fun transforming it into an intimate space! Happy Marriage!
