November Wedding in Saratoga

We knew it was going to be a wet day, perhaps one of the heaviest rain in the year 2008. The day before, we were lucky to have a gorgeous day for the rehearsal at the Hakone Gardens, and the bridal party was out and about, dressed up in their hand-crafted costumes for the Halloween. The day of the wedding, it was a gloomy morning, then dark clouds came soon after and were followed by a heavy downpour. But the bride and groom were in good spirits, and they enjoyed the "moment" under their little red umbrella. Although we had to quickly make a last minute change by moving the outdoor ceremony to an indoor room, but it was still just as intimate and beautiful as any wedding ceremony could be.

FC Wong, a very talented photographer, captured some amazing shots, and the pictures turned out vibrant and filled with emotions (will post soon). The color scheme was orange, red and chocolate brown, and what I love the most was that the bride put together many little touches of their Chinese and Japanese cultures into this wedding. The atmosphere of the wedding was just divine.

The colors are so amazing and vibrant. They complement a fall/winter wedding very nicely!
